(pronounced Ana-pa-mu) is a 100 year old southern style house located
in the heart of downtown. It was once the home of city Mayor
Cleo Lloyd, circa 1910. There is an onsite property manager. The house
and rooms are furnished and ready for move in, with all services,
limited housekeeping and internet access provided for. We welcome
SBCC & other students. The house is three blocks from the famous
Courthouse and Sunken Gardens, main branch of the Santa Barbara County
Library, and all restaurants and amenities. Santa Barbara City College is 1.3 miles away; either a short bicycle ride (be prepared to ride up a small hill as you approach the College) or walk to the central station on Carrillo Street and take the #4, #5, #16 or #17 bus. (You can also catch the express bus to U.C.S.B. from there). Downstairs, there is an oversized kitchen with two refrigerators, spacious living room with leather sofa's and a dining room. There is a laundry room with a washer/dryer and utility sink. There is a back patio area with a barbeque, picnic table & chairs.There is cable T.V. available for all in the downstairs living room, and wireless internet in all rooms. Upstairs are four large furnished bedrooms shared two students to a room, and one small room for one person. If you are applying as a single tenant, we can help match a roomate.The rooms are furnished with beds, a desk, dressers, chairs, and book shelves.There are two full bathrooms in the house. All the occupants are guys, this is not a mixed co-ed house The rate for the shared rooms is $695.00 each person. The rate includes housekeeping, all utilities, T.V. and Internet access. Tenants are requested to be respectful of others and especially quiet after 9 PM. Parking is on the street (no offstreet parking). Due to the proximity of the house to the school, public transportation and all services, private cars are not necessary. There is an on site property manager who lives in a separate building adjacent to the house. In Summary; the Anapamu House has these features:
